Fundraising for anyone like Harry <3
Over just three months ago, I lost one of my best friends, Harry. He personally never spoke up about his personal life much, and was always willing to help others. My one wish for myself is that I carry out his legacy and help out others in need, being honest and true to myself, and being a good friend to everyone I come across.Through the month of May, mental health has resonated with me. Harry has been reminding me that it's okay to take breaks, talk to people, and have a good cry every now and again. If we don't speak up and cry about our problems, then when will we? However not everyone is as fortunate to have parents such as mine, which is why lifeline is so valuable to thousands of people all over the world.
It costs around $40 for lifeline just to answer a call, while they have no repayment back. Hosting fundraisers and allowing for them to continue to pick up phone calls could save a person's life. Losing someone to suicide breaks a family and the effects will never fade away, never knowing if they had the access to outlets.
For the next month, I will be selling bakery boxes, filled with either cookies, brownies, cupcakes etc. They will come packed in a box with a handwritten affirming letter attached to brighten someone's day, and allow people to read something they may not hear often. Different boxes will range from $5-$50, so please reach out to me on any platform if you are interested!
