Why partner with Lifeline Queensland
Lifeline Queensland is grateful for the incredible support provided, every year, by Australia's corporate community.
The support of corporate partners is just as vital as ever to ensure that every call for help is answered. Making sure no one has to face their darkest moments alone.
We'll work with you to build a partnership that enriches your workplace and provides long term sustainable impacts to Lifeline crisis support and the wider community. We work alongside our partner organisations to find an area of support that meets your organisational goals while ensuring better outcomes for people and families in crisis.
By partnering with Lifeline Queensland, you can help
- Answer more than one million calls for help every year from right across Australia. Lifeline services are essential as suicide remains the leading cause of death for Australian’s aged between 15 and 44 with eight people dying by suicide each day and eight people attempting Suicide each hour.
- Tackle suicide head-on. It is hard to comprehend that more than 3,000 lives are lost each year to suicide, touching the hearts of 400,000 friends, colleagues and loved ones. That’s more than eight people a day who we will lose to this national tragedy.
- Support those at risk of suicide. For every death by suicide, it is estimated that as many as 30 people attempt to end their lives, with 65,300 suicide attempts each year.
Lifeline is doing more than any other organisation to reduce the dreadful toll of suicide. Providing unlimited support to all Australians, all day, every day. Together, we can work toward creating a suicide-free Australia and keep our future generations safe.
