One in six Australians will consider suicide in their lifetime.
When you think of all the people you interact with on a daily basis, all the people you love and care about – that one in six could be any one of them.
This Lifeline Giving Day, just $39 helps us answer a call from someone in crisis. But any amount makes a difference.
Wouldn't you give anything if it helped someone in your life?
Sam would give anything to have her daughter back
Sam's daughter, Chloe died by suicide when she was 13 years old. Chloe had so much to give and so much life ahead of her. She was in the advanced class at school, affectionate at home, a lover of animals. But there were things that she wasn’t coping with, pain that her teenage brain couldn’t manage.
There’s a family, friends, a whole community who miss Chloe.
We can’t bring back the loved ones who die from suicide, but we can give the people still with us every help to stay.
Would you give anything if it helped someone in your life?
