Walking for every life that matters

Some partnerships go beyond business. They touch hearts. They save lives.

Cater Care doesn’t just talk about caring – they walk the talk. Literally.

This May, their team laced up their sneakers for Walk the Talk, taking on 65 kilometres to represent the 65,000 Australians who attempt suicide each year.

Every step sparked conversations. Every conversation broke down stigma.

Over $12,000 was raised, with every dollar helping fund the crisis support that transforms despair into hope.

One Cater Care team member shared her heartbreak after losing her daughter’s partner, she found purpose in the initiative.

Support, whether through corporate partnerships like Cater Care’s or individual donations, funds more than phone lines.

It funds the Crisis Supporters on 13 11 14 who answer a call at 3am. The text service on 0477 13 11 14 that many younger people are more comfortable using. The community programs that build resilience before crisis hits.

With nine Australians taking their own lives every day, initiatives like Walk the Talk become more than fundraising events – they become lifelines cast into communities that desperately need hope.

Cater Care’s 65 kilometres became thousands of conversations.

Thanks to people like you and partners like Cater Care for believing that every step matters, every conversation counts, and every life is worth saving.
