Giving a gift in someone's name helps make sure no one faces a mental health problem alone.

Making a gift in their memory is a thoughtful way to celebrate the impact they had on the people around them, and to let their compassion live on through lifesaving support for others.

When you donate in memory of someone special, your kindness helps ensure that people facing crisis can find connection, hope, and someone to turn to. Your tribute becomes part of a legacy that may help save a life.

Get support with grief

Understanding and managing grief isn’t something you have to do on your own, and it's a natural response to losing someone or something significant to you.

Whether it’s the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or another major life change, grief helps us process loss and slowly adjust to a new reality.

Grief can come from any experience that shifts your sense of security, identity, or connection to the world. No loss is too small to matter if it feels meaningful to you.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed right now, Lifeline is here to support you

You can reach us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

About Lifeline Queensland

Every day, lives across Australia are touched by the pain of suicide. It is a heartbreaking reality that affects families, friends, colleagues and communities. Yet even in these difficult moments, there is hope. Lifeline Queensland exists to make sure no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

Suicide prevention is not one single action. It is the ongoing, compassionate support we provide whenever someone reaches out. It includes connection, early intervention, and giving people the tools to manage distress before it becomes a crisis.

Through crisis lines, digital channels, counselling, community programs, and self-led support, Lifeline Queensland offers care in the ways people need us. Whether someone is feeling overwhelmed, navigating grief, worried about a loved one, or struggling to cope, we provide support in the way that feels right for them.
